The delay to Blur has been about polishing and adding "extra functionality." They haven't needed to draft in other project teams to help.
"We do have a couple of other projects on the go and they haven't been restricted or slowed down by what we're doing," said Blur co-lead designer Ged Talbot, reports CVG.
"It's not like we needed the rest of the company to help us," he said. The Project Gotham Racing team from Bizarre are the ones behind Blur, and its Mario Kart-like approach.
As for the other two projects of which one is believed to be a James Bond shooter, Talbot said: "The team that make the shooters are still making their game and we've got another team who are busy doing stuff as well."
Blur releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC April 9th in Europe. Check out the trailer.
