Administrator Begbies Traynor ”offer reassurance” to APB fans that the game will remain very much alive, with future updates already underway.
“We are actively pursuing all these expressions of interest which have come from both the UK and US,” said joint administrator Paul Dounis of Begbies Traynor. He confirmed that of the 210 jobs at the Dundee office, 53 remain in operation.
”We very much regret the redundancies that we have had to make,” he added. This leaves behind a ‘skeleton crew’ to maintain MMO APB and ensure updates continue to be developed for the future. APB is a selling point for RTW.
”The game will continue and that is something we want all customers to be aware of,” said Dounis. Realtime Worlds has itself released a press release affirming their commitment to APB to try and ease the minds of players during this ‘restructuring’ period.
”APB will continue as a live service in the US and Europe during restructuring with full game and community support continuing during this period. Future updates and game improvements are in the pipeline including and a new patch went live this week.”
”We want to offer reassurance to gamers that APB will not only continue as an online service but will be improved and supported 100% during this restructure,” chipped in Dounis, once again. Here are the latest updates to hit the public test realms:
