The Sims 3 is getting a new add-on pack, as EA has announced at its Redwood showcase that The Sims 3 Late Night expansion pack is in development and will hit stores worldwide this fall.
Late Night allows players to head downtown where they'll be able to hang with celebrities at the "hottest" parties, pub it up in the local bar, tour with the amazing band they've started or find a hot tub to chill out in.
"The community has been very vocal about unleashing their Sims in more interesting and unpredictable social situations," said Scott Evans, General Manager of The Sims Studio at EA. "The Sims 3 Late Night is full of ways to approach a rich, new life beyond a Sims' normal day, such as schmoozing with celebrities on the rooftop of a skyscraper, wooing the crowd with your Sim's band, or being the best bartender in town at the hottest new lounge."
To gain entrance to the elite clubs in Late Night, you'll need to make sure that your attitude is in check, otherwise tough bouncers might have their way with you. You can even discover the secrets of becoming a vampire, but hopefully one that doesn't sparkle and isn't a vegetarian.
The Sims 3 will be required to play Late Night when it releases in the Autumn.
