The Witcher 2 ”will be loved both” by fans and first-timers. It’s been in the works for the ”past two-and-a-half years,” with an event in Poland today.
A Polish-event today showcases The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for the first time officially, and not through some leaked internal footage for a change.
“I am really glad that we can officially present what we’ve been working on for the past two-and-a-half years,” said CD Projekt RED boss Adam Kiciński, reports VE3D.
”We learned a lot during The Witcher’s development process, and we are using all of that knowledge to ensure the sequel is one of the best RPGs people have ever played. We’ve concentrated on improving the most successful parts of the Witcher, and I strongly believe that The Witcher 2 will be loved both by fans of the original and newcomers.”
”We know that we aimed very high while producing The WItcher 1. Now we are aiming even higher with The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.” The first game proved an amazing hit despite prejudices of it coming from an East-Europe studio - and their first title.
Expect juicy new assets for The Witcher 2 to explode soon. You can check out the stuff as it comes from the CD Projekt Conference Spring 2010 through the live feed. Excited?
