Singularity, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days and Blur Racerz will be the first three selling under the new name. It’s unclear if this will happen here.
Blur and Singularity, from Bizarre Creations and Raven Software respectively, are both Activision titles here in Europe and the US. In Japan it’s Square handling distribution and they’ll fall under the new snazzy label.
Eidos Interactive is behind Kane & Lynch 2, whom is a subsidiary of Square Enix. There’s no mention of the ‘Extreme Edges’ label hitting us westerners. Square do tend to conjure up feelings of JRPG, but surely the average gamer doesn’t care?
Do you let publishing labels prejudice you for or against games often? Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC August 24th.
