An engineer for Ubisoft Montreal had the upcoming release down for ”360, PS3, PC”. Ubi has said before it’s ”a true Microsoft exclusive”.
Marc Demers’ LinkedIn profile was the one to give hope to PlayStation 3 and Splinter Cell fans, but the information has since been removed. It now notes he ”participated in the development” of ”Splinter Cell Conviction 360, PC (2010)”.
It could just be that Demers listed the game wrong on his online CV, given the publisher Ubi has said previously: ”Splinter Cell Conviction is a true Microsoft exclusive title and there are no plans to have Splinter Cell Conviction on other platforms.”
Splinter Cell: Conviction releases on Xbox 360 and PC April 16th. The PC version comes with Ubisoft’s new and highly controversial DRM that demands constant Internet. Would a PlayStation 3 version bring a smile to your face?
