It’s not a videogame project though, but rather a TV show guided by audience decisions for its storyboard and it’s called ‘The Creation Project’.
Yeah it sounds nuts but so nuts that it can’t be anything but good - right? ”I’m working on a lot of secret projects I can’t talk about yet, but soon,” Wright said at this year’s GDC.
At least one of those projects has been revealed. The TV show will involve audience participation who through mobile devices and PC, submit story ideas. This leads to viewers voting for their favourite ideas and eventually airing as two half hour episodes.
The Creation Project is about the creation of a TV show, involving a ‘StoryMaker Engine’ that allows users to quickly put together a storyboard. The whole thing could be up and running by the end of this year, with the ‘StoryMaker Engine’ debuting earlier.
Interesting stuff indeed, thanks IGN. Former Spike TV and Nickelodeon president Albie Hecht has teamed up with Wright and the Stupid Fun Club as producer.
