Recently EA has teased ”big news” will be unveiled for the Mass Effect 3, and it’s something a lot of us have been ”eagerly awaiting”. Multiplayer seems in.
BioWare has been rumoured to have included multiplayer in Mass Effect 3 for some time now, but they’ve always been dismissive of anything concrete. EA teased at a Vegas event that ”big news that a lot of you have been eagerly awaiting” is due ”within the week.”
However BioWare’s Chris Priestly has poured ice water on the EA reps words. ”I think I need to step in here as the expectations seem to be quite high,” he said.
”There is no “big announcement coming this week”. This was speculation from a guy who works at EA who was at the event in question. There is lots of cool Mass Effect 3 information still to come between now and March 6, but there is no planned “big announcement” or whatever planned for the immediate future.”
Magazine Xbox World 360 has also promised to expose Mass Effect 3’s ”killer new feature” in their next issue, which hits subscribers October 25th. Mass Effect 3 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC March 6th in the US, 9th in Europe. Retail ad courtesy of NeoGAF.
