Sony is hungry for more defendants in the court case against George “Geohot” Hotz and Fail Overflow. The company is attempting to track down all the hackers responsible for the now widely-available PlayStation jailbreak. Of course, it’s kind of hard to track down those kind of people.
PSX-SCENE is subpoenaing sites like Github, requesting “all information and documents related to the use of your service(s) to register, create, maintain and/or use accounts associated with the user names “hermesEOL,” “kakaroto,” “waninkoko,” and “grafchokolo.”
Somehow, we doubt people named “kararoto” will be found unless they want to be found. Meanwhile, the whiff of desperation coming from Sony has turned into a stench.
