Ubisoft have revealed the latest game in their Ghost Recon series during Microsoft’s E3 press conference.
Entitled Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the game will make full use of Kinect voice and motion controls.
A short trailer for the game was presented, before Ubisoft gave an in-depth demonstration of Kinect enhanced weapon customisation.
“Customising weapons is something critical to special operations”, said a Ubisoft spokeperson, “gunsmith allows you to create over 20 million unique weapons through either gesture or voice”.
Ubisoft then went on to demonstrate a series of voice-controlled setups, which included “optimise for close combat,” “randomise” and “optimise for range.”
CEO of Ubisoft Yves Guillemot concluded the presentation by stating that “All future titles in the Tom Clancy Franchise will leverage Kinect.”
