Trine 2is hitting PC and Mac tomorrow on Steam, and the console dates have finally been revealed for the multi-class puzzler platformer.
The PlayStation Network version will be landing in North America on the 20th December, while Trine 2 will land on Xbox Live Arcade a day later on the 21st worldwide. The Euro PSN release date will be announced soon.
According to Frozenbyte, Trine 2 is available for pre-purchase now on Steam and other channels, including GamersGate and Direct2Drive. The regular edition is priced at $14.99/€12.99/£11.99, while the Collector’s Edition, which includes a digital artbook with developer commentary and the original soundtrack by the acclaimed composer Ari Pulkkinen, is available for $24.99/€19.99/£17.99. A DRM free version of Trine 2 is coming in 2012.
The original Trine was released on PC and PSN in 2009 to generally positive reviews. Strategy Informer awarded the game an 8.0/10 score in our review. The sequel will feature online co-op.
