Those sneak peak glimpses of the ‘here’s how you play’ tome reveal we can employ hirelings, and we can utilise cooking pots. Plus there’s jail time to serve, maybe.
Combat specialities are promised to our hirelings according to the leaked game manual, as well as giving us some basic command orders for our hired goons such as wait, use something, attack, open or even pick up something. Friends can join us too.
Cooking is a new skill introduced with Skyrim. ”Cooking pots allow you to prepare food items that provide various temporary effects. Each recipe requires specific culinary ingredients that can be found throughout Skyrim,” read the leaked manual scans.
Also if persuasion, intimidation or outright bribing doesn’t work with NPCs then we can just break out the fists and brawl them. Prison plays a role too as crimes when reported start to stack a bounty on our head, which is specific to a town or location.
You can avoid being reported if you silence all witnesses to said crimes, but should a guard catch you then a fine can be paid, but all detected and slyly pinched items will be taken away. If you go to jail to serve out your punishment then skill progress will be lost.
