The UK’s BBFC has rated Rockstar Games and Team Bondi’s L.A. Noire with an 18 certificate for its ”very strong language” and ”strong violence”.
There’s some ”sex references and nudity” too. We’re glad Rockstar haven’t skimped on the sleaze of 1940’s Los Angeles in this detective story extravaganza.
The game was classified by the BBFC yesterday, April 11th, and given an 18 certificate. The version they got their regulatory hands on was the PlayStation 3 version it seems. ”This work was passed with no cuts made,” reads the BBFC rating.
L.A. Noire releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 May 17th in the US, the 20th in the UK.
