Namco Bandai has announced that a playable single player demo will be released for Ace Combat Assault Horizon on 13th September for North American and 14th September for Europe. You will be able to download it from the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace.
In the jet fighter mission, players will step into the shoes of the game’s hero Bishop for the first time and engage in an intense dogfight over sun-kissed Miami. The sequence serves as the game’s tutorial level and introduces Bishop’s deadly adversary Markov. The second part of the demo is the helicopter mission. Players will take on the role of helicopter pilot D-Ray as he lays waste to enemies and supports a high risk rescue operation by the elite Delta Force special forces unit.
Ace Combat Assault Horizon will release for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America on October 11th and across Europe on October 14th 2011.
[Update: The demo is now available on Marketplace here. The official demo text reads: Take to the skies at supersonic speeds in the Ace Combat Assault Horizon playable demo. Containing two missions (fighter jet & attack helicopter), you will experience steel carnage destruction and intense visceral dogfights as well as the entirely new low-altitude action-packed ground combat.]
