It’s a ”homage” to RPG and fantasy, including its ”books, movies and games.” It features four playable characters, and their skills must be mastered to solve puzzles.
”In a world torn by war, the aged gremlin archaeologist Mortimer MacGuffin harbours the dark secret of a powerful artefact. Whoever calls this artefact his own, will determine the fate of the world,” blurbed the official press release from publisher Lace Mamba.
”While the Army of the Shadows sends out its best and most devious agents to discover the secret, the Alliance’s four heroes find themselves involuntarily drawn into the crisis…” It has around 20 hours of gameplay ”in a massive game world” with over 150 puzzles.
The Book of Unwritten Tales releases on PC October 29th. Check out the teaser trailer below - you might just recognise what particular property it’s paying ‘homage’.
