In a video interview with DualShockers, Rocksteady’s Dax Ginn defended the online pass to unlock Catwoman in Batman: Arkham City, which will be released tomorrow, saying it’s “critical to the entire industry.”
The Catwoman online pass is similar to many games with an online multiplayer mode, in which new copies of Batman: Arkham City come with a one-time code to unlock the feline villainess. Players who own a used copy of the game or rent the game must pay 800 Microsoft Points ($9.99 USD) to get a new code.
The online code was discovered by pirates who stole the Xbox 360 game code.
