Today is the official release of the Dragon Age II demo for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Right now the Xbox 360 has it through Xbox Live but only for Gold users.
If you’re a non-subscribing XBL user than you’ll have to wait until next week. The PC version of the demo will be up later today. It weighs in at 1.98GB.
BioWare is offering two in-game bonus books if the demo is downloaded one million times between now and March 1st. The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall gives gold when opened while Lothering’s Lament rewards with additional experience points.
When you download the demo make sure to log in to EA’s servers so it counts toward the one million. You unlock a Dwarven blade called Hayders Razor when you’ve played through the demo, which increases health, mana and combat skills.
Xbox Live Marketplace is the only venue in town with the demo right now. Dragon Age II releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC March 8th in the US, and on the 11th in Europe.
