Modern Warfare 3 countdown has begun [FAKE]

[UPDATE: The site is a hoax.]

Here we go again, folks. Another countdown has popped up, much like Bethesda’s countdown to the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim reveal trailer. This one, however, is at a site called findmakarov.com, which industry writers were directed to from a set of dog tags sent to them by Activision.

Makarov, as you may remember, was the villain of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The countdown hits zero a few days from now, so will we be seeing the first details and possibly video of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3? Probably - it’ll be interesting to see who the developer is.
