Treyarch boosting ranks for next major Call of Duty release

It’s so thoroughly unshocking it could shock the system if not properly digested. The next Call of Duty from Treyarch is underway, and they’re hunting for new staff.

So far they need a multiplayer level designer but also someone who’s an ”expert on recent first person shooters”, and genre trends. Needs a little reinventing?

Presently Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the next up for release. The last instalment from Treyarch was of course Black Ops which explored the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. Will it stick with this time period?

Treyarch’s website reveals a Lead Multiplayer Designer and a Game Designer/Scripter are the latest additions to the job post board. Is the Call of Duty series unstoppable?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC November 8th.
