Capcom released a gameplay trailer during its Game Jam event for E.X. Troopers, which is an unlikely anime spinoff of Lost Planet. The game is being written by Dai Sato, who worked on the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Eureka 7 anime series. The game’s trailer shows off some of the multiplayer as well.
Capcom has also contracted Satelight to produce a film as well, which will be included with Sengoku Basara HD Collection in August.
E.X. Troopers is due to be released sometime this year for PlayStation 3 and Nintendo 3DS.
