Electronic Arts revealed in its investor call focusing on the publisher’s first quarter financials for 2012 that Battlefield 3 Premium has been wildly successful, getting over 1.3M users to subscribe. The service had attracted 800K users in its first two weeks.
Battlefield 3 Premium, which earned EA $37M in revenue, gives players all of the future Battlefield 3 downloadable content for free, as well as other advanced stat and leaderboard features.
EA also revealed that their Origin digital distribution service reached 21M subscribers, compared to Steam’s current 41M.
