Namco-Bandai has announced that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm - Generations has gone gold, meaning the game has gone to manufacturing, and will be making its 13th March release date for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
This edition of Naruto Shippuden will include online play and increase the number of playable characters over 70. The game will include a variety of online battle modes with popular Naruto characters, including Naruto and Sasuke, and by popular demand, the characters Zabuza and Haku.
For the first time in the series, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm - Generations will feature real-world collectible card integration with the video game, which will allow players to unlock corresponding artwork for their in-game profile card and engage in a special mini-battle to unlock a bonus skill and gain an advantage in the network battle. According to the press release, ”This new card functionality works with the SAGE’s LEGACY edition of the collectible cards, which are sold separately.”
