Microsoft announced South Park: The Stick of Truth at its E3 press conference.
South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone arrived on stage and briefly showed the game, which is entirely in the style of the cartoon itself. The premise is simple, as players arrive into the town as the new kid on the block, who is looking to befriend the boys by helping them survive a number of adventures.Parker and Stone revealed they had never thought about the town’s geography before Obsidian pitched the game, and had to rush off stage to continue working in the studio.
Previous South Park games have struggled to make an impression, but with the creators on board, this could be very different.
