European publisher Lexis Numerique has announced that developer Vector Cell's survival horror game, Amy, will be hitting PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade next week on the 11th January, and will be co-published by Namco-Bandai. Amy will cost 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade and 9.99€ / £7.99 on PlayStation Network.
Amy was written and lead developed by French developer Paul Cuisset, who is best known for Flashback: The Quest for Identity.
The game takes place in 2034 where global warming has led to widespread diseases, including a strange epidemic that has infected the player protagonist Lana. The infection causes people to turn into violent, aggressive creatures. Fortunately for Lana, she finds an autistic 8 year old girl who somehow quells the virus germinating in her.
