Theory Interactive, an independent game studio from Espoo, Finland, has revealed a new single player co-op first person puzzle game called Reset. In development for the PC, Reset will have a strong emphasis on story and atmosphere.
Players are able to travel back in time to solve puzzles co-operatively, with yourself. This seems a bit confusing, but the developer promises it will explain more soon. It’s a very small studio, with only two people on the project, but the team are using an in-house engine dubbed Praxis.
As you can see from the screenshots below, the engine is impressive, especially since the devs claim these are unedited, real time screenshots. It could almost be confused with a Pixar movie, like WALL-E 2.
There’s no release date at the moment, but we’ll be watching this one closely. Stay tuned.
