Sonic the Fighters heading to PC, PSN and XBLA

Rumours suggest Sonic the Fighters is getting a re-release on PC, PSN and Xbox Live.

Successful trademark finder Superannuation indicated the game will make a return on his Twitter feed.

”Sonic the Fighters getting a digital re-release suggests to me that Sega is running out of Sonic games to re-release.”

This may be true. Sonic the Fighters is a pretty terrible beat ‘em up that barely adds anything to the genre. We’ll confirm as soon as we know.
