Mortal Kombat developer Netherrealm Studios has posted job listings for a senior software engineer and a gameplay software engineer to work on a project for next generation consoles.
The ad for the senior software engineer states that the position ”will be centered on porting the current development engine to Next Generation consoles as well as integrating new middleware for said consoles,” and ”developing and porting technologies to the next generations of consoles.”
For the gameplay software engineer, Netherrealm ”seeks a Software Engineer – Gameplay to join our Gameplay programming team in creating game systems for exciting, cutting-edge action games on current and Next Gen consoles.”
Neither ad states what kind of game the developer is looking to make, save for the fact that they will be working with the ”Koretech technology team behind the Mortal Kombat franchise.”
