Sony Online Entertainment has announced a PlanetSide Vet Video contest for PlanetSide 2 in celebration of the launch of the original PlanetSide eight years ago. The contest comes in conjunction with a new video produced by SOE and The9 called the “8 Years” trailer.
To enter the PlanetSide Vet Video contest, players must submit a 30-second video-diary confessionals describing their most epic, memorable or heroic moment from their PlanetSide 1 experience. The top 3 videos will win passes for themselves and a guest to attend SOE Live in Las Vegas in October. The winners, who will be decided by SOE, will also be highlighted on an upcoming episode of PlanetSide 2 Command Center.
Gamers who were only runners-up will be featured as part of the PlanetSide 2 YouTube Channel Vet Video Playlist.
