They want a Lead Multiplayer Map Designer with a ”deep knowledge of multiplayer gaming” and ”the action/shooter game genre.” Also a Character Concept Artist for an ”upcoming PC action title.”
Playing detective for a moment and bursting into the District Attorney’s office, it’s clear that Dead Space developer Visceral Games is up to the crime of MOBA development in the free-to-play market. The question is what IP universe will be complicit? Would Visceral leverage Dead Space for something MOBA? Could that even work?
There’s no word from EA yet. Presently the California-based studio is working on Dead Space 3 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC as well as Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel for Xbox 360 and PS3; both are due in 2013.
