4J Studios has announced that the 160 Microsoft Point ($2 USD) Halloween skins downloadable content for the Xbox Live Arcade version of Minecraft raised over $770K for charity.
In a tweet, 4J proclaimed, “We are delighted to confirm that the Halloween Skin Pack brought in a total of $770,448 for the charities! Thanks everyone :)”
Said charities are Block by Block, SANDS Lothians, Child’s Play, and Macmillan Cancer Support, which will be divvying up the funds raised by the DLC.
4J also revealed that Update 7 will add experience points and animal breeding, and Update 8 features The End, a planet populated by the creepy Endermen, and the planet’s Ender Dragon boss.
