After baiting fans with the notion that Namco would seriously consider bringing Dark Souls to PC pending fan support (with the obvious hint "Now to make things happen, let's say the demand has to be properly done. someone to make a successful petition?"), the fans response of over 65,000 signatures on an online petition has gotten a response from the game's community manager.
"Damn you are amazing!" Namco community manager Tony Shoupinou beamed on the official forums in a post, "I honestly wasn't expecting such massive support. My boss(es) even came to talk to me about this after it exploded all around the world. If you wanted to have the attention of Namco Bandai Games, now you have it."
"The future is in your hands, and I hope you will keep supporting this. I will make a personal objective to make sure every relevant person at Namco Bandai Games is in touch with this formidable effort," Shoupinou encouraged further.
Dark Souls was released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 last October. The game earned an 8.0/10 score in Strategy Informer's review.
