Zero Dark Thirty tie-in DLC coming to Warfighter next week

Electronic Arts has announced that the Medal of Honor: Warfighter downloadable content based on the assassination of Osama bin-Laden will be released next week. The DLC will be called “Zero Dark Thirty” in North America, to take advantage of the Kathryn Bigelow film release of the same name, and “The Hunt” in other regions.

The DLC adds 2 maps, The Darra Gun Market and Chitra Compound, as well as 14 new weapon camos.

The Darra Gun Market map features an abandoned estate and river docks, while the Chitral Compound is a small village compound in the middle of a dried up river valley. The 14 new weapon camos include the Atlas, Mako, Blackbird, Grizzly, Neptune, Gunslinger, Ranger, Wolfpack, LBT, Tactical Pink, Hunter, Tree Bark, Snake Peel and Dev Team.

There are also a bunch of new weapon attachments including EBR: Standard Barrel + PEQ-15, Trijicon TA648-308 + RMR; AK103: Lightweight Barrel + Surefire Rail & Foregrip, Trijicon RMR; MG4: Lightweight Barrel + Handguard, No Stock; G36: Quad Rail + LLM01, Aimpoint Micro T1 + 3x Magnifier; MK16PDW: Lightweight Barrel + PEQ-15, Trijicon 1x42; OBR762: Standard Barrel + PEQ-15, US Optics SN-8.

The DLC will be released on the 17th December 17 on PC, 18th December 18 on Xbox 360 and PS3 in North America, and 19th December on PS3 in UK.
