GAME has started sending out letters informing pre-order customers of specific store closures, and forwarding them to GAME and GameStation stores which will be handling their order.
This comes in the wake of GAME announcing that it will reduce its UK stores by 60 from 610 to 550 by Christmas 2013. The original number of stores to be shuttered had been 35. The company had already shut down its Gameplay.co.uk online store.
Last week, GAME reportedly was prepping for administration. GameStop, Walmart and Comet all have eyes on acquiring the struggling videogame retailer.
