Since the R18+ rating for Australian games won’t be in effect til the 1st January 2013, it was questionable if Sleeping Dogs and its intense violence would be able to make its 16th August release date in that country.
However, the game received an MA15+ by the Aussie ratings board, so it won’t have to wait a few months to be released.
Sleeping Dogs is due to be released in North America on the 14th August and in Europe on the 17th. The game will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
