Tripwire Interactive has announced a Game of the Year Edition of Red Orchestra 2, which will include a new map, new game modes and new features. Players who already own Red Orchestra 2 need not feel left out: the GOTY Edition Free Content Pack will download automatically for all gamers who already own it.
The Game of the Year Edition includes:
* “Action” mode - Featuring a crosshair, easier aiming and toned down recoil, reduced damage and open access to a wide range of weaponry Action mode is the perfect first step for players into the world of Red Orchestra.

“Classic” mode blends the gameplay innovations of the new game with the tactical and edgy gameplay of the original giving the fans of the first game exactly what they want.

Mamayev Kurgan - complete new map, featuring both close-quarters battles in trenches and bunkers, as well as longer ranged combat across the famous hill in Stalingrad

Refined and improved gameplay across the board, vehicle improvements, and way better performance and polish.
If that weren’t enough, there will be a Free Weekend trial of Red Orchestra 2 on Steam for anyone who wants to see what the game is like. The Free Weekend begins on the 24th May, 10:00AM PST (6:00PM GMT).
The GOTY Edition Content Pack will be released before the Free Weekend begins.
