Wibberley duo to rewrite Uncharted film for Sony

Marianne and Cormac Wibberley, who penned Disney’s National Treasure franchise, have been tapped up to rewrite Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune for Sony Pictures.

Neil Burger is no longer working on the movie-adaptation. The Wibberleys also wrote Charlie’s Angles: Full Throttle, and will now tackle Drake’s adventure as he tries to locate the lost treasure of El Dorado.

Pretty disappointing, if you ask me.
