Developer Ready at Dawn Studios, which is best known for developing the PSP titles God of War: Ghost of Sparta and God of War: Chains of Olympus, has revealed that it is looking to hire staff for a AAA ”next generation home console game system”.
According to the developer’s official site, the game is ”a 3rd Person Action Adventure.” It is also a new IP, ruling out another God of War title.
In the past few days, developers like Bethesda Softworks and Lionhead Studios seem to be gearing up to develop games for the next generation of console. This could mean that they are working on launch titles for the unannounced next-gen Sony and Microsoft consoles in 2013.
One has to wonder if either company will finally announce their new systems at E3 2012, or wait til next year before formally revealing them.
