Sony has announced on the PlayStation Blog that the PlayStation Network will be down yet again for maintenance on Thursday, the 1st March at 8:00A PST (16:00 GMT). The blog states that the maintenance will be “significant”, which seems to indicate that it’ll be down for an extended period, especially since the blog gives no end time for the outage.
The blog also warns that unlike most maintenance downtime, people on PSN will be kicked out of whatever online activities they were doing. There will be no online multiplayer, no PlayStation Store, no PlayStation Home and no Account Management.
Sony advises PSN users to watch the official PlayStation Twitter feed to find out when the service is restored.
