A new report is claiming that Microsoft will be releasing a new wave of major updates to its operating systems for Windows, Windows Phone and Xbox One OS in the Spring 2015. The update is codenamed “Threshhold” and will make the three OS systems more synergistic.
The app store and developer toolset will reportedly be standardized between the systems.
Microsoft will also be releasing key updates for Windows 8 in 2014, though no details are yet available. On “Threshhold”, the company stated it did not comment on “rumors and speculation”.
