Netherrealms boss Ed Boon tweeted a scan from the most recent issue of @Gamer which had a story on his latest fighting title, Injustice: Gods Among Us, which showed classic DC villains Bane and Lex Luthor as playable fighters.
The magazine also seems to hint at tag team play, as one caption blares, “Batman faces the one-two punch of Bane and Lex Luthor!” It remains to be seen if this mechanic is included in the game.
Injustice: Gods Among Us, a fighting game based in a dark, gritty alternate version of the DC universe, is due to be released this April on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
