This higher figure is RRP which means it’s not always going to be the priced charged to consumers. For now at least, online retailers are price tagging the full amount.
If only there was some way to buy a game at a reduced priced, even if that copy had been used before…
”At present, the only publisher to confirm costs of their next generation games are EA, attaching a price of £54.99,” reads the GAME PS4 FAQ. ”No other game prices have been confirmed. We will of course update our listings as and when this happens. And if the price changes before release day, you will always pay the lowest price.”
EA titles for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are Battlefield 4, Need for Speed: Rivals, FIFA 14, NBA Live 14 and Madden 25. Additional titles in the works include Mirror’s Edge 2, Titanfall, Star Wars: Battlefront, Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
