Valve is currently sniffing around UK talent at the Develop conference in Brighton, and are apparently floating the possibility of signing up new staff for their Seattle HQ and new Luxembourg office.
Should their new European venture in Luxembourg prove a hit, then Valve might look to Britain for some real-estate. Currently their Luxembourg site staffs just five and they’re assigned to Steam.
Valve said their Luxembourg office was ideal for the company to have a more direct line to their European development partners. It’s also a bit of a tax haven.
