The boxed copy won’t include a disc for the launch digital title for the next-gen console, which will be bought from the official Microsoft store. Instead, it’ll come with a download code for the “Ultra Edition”, which will make all of the characters and downloadable content of the game’s “first season” free for the gamer.
The box will double as a case for collectible pins that Penny Arcade releases, and coming with a Killer Instinct logo pin and a Jago pin to start off the collection. There will be more collectible pins available from Penny Arcade’s store, done by Mike Krahulik (aka Gabe).
Killer Instinct will be available for the Xbox One’s launch on the 22nd November 2013.
