DayZ creator Dean Hall has a released raw footage of the standalone version of the zombie survival sim, bugs and all. In fact he warns it "may deeply trouble experts who post YouTube comments."
He also admits the "poor FPS, floating loot, bad lighting, placeholder sounds" and avalanche of bugs all confirm the "project is completely doomed." There may have been some sarcasm in there.
Previously Hall has said he doesn't comment on any possible release date schedule because they're too far from being certain, and would likely to frustrate fans when dates are missed.
"Been a while so here is a raw, unedited, roughly 10 minute gameplay video taken after spawning into a multiplayer test today,” posted Dean Hall in the video's description. "This is pre-alpha footage, so it makes no effort to mask the variety of bugs. Our whole focus is on getting the alpha out, which means focusing on Multiplayer (server) performance.”
