GDC 2013 is going to be up and running in late March, and Activision Blizzard will be giving a seminar and presentation led by R&D man Jorge Jimenez titled “Photorealistic Eyes Rendering and Deformation”, aimed at next-gen machines.
According to the presentation description, Jimenez will be showing ”show high-quality next-generation shading driven with a plausible game rig”. The presentation will demonstrate Activision’s techniques for subsurface scattering rendering, eye shading, anti-aliasing, depth of field, and film grain.
