Microsoft has noted that the Friend List limit on the Xbox One will expand from the Xbox 360’s 100 friends to 1000 on the Xbox One.
This was revealed by the Xbox Support twitter feed in the following exchange:
Finally, gamers no longer have to decide which of their friends they want to keep when the limit reaches the max. It might have been a minor change, but one of the most popular user requests.
