Crytek has revealed that Ryse: Son of Rome, previously an exclusive for the Xbox One, will be released for the PC via Steam on 10th October, 2014 for a price of £34.99.
Ryse: Son of Rome comes to the PC with a few improvements over the Xbox One release, including 4K resolution support, all previously released DLC will now be free for PC users and other technical enhancements will be implemented into this version.
Ryse: Son of Rome tells the story of Marius Titus, a young Roman soldier who witnesses the murder of his family at the hands of barbarian bandits. Engulfed with rage, Marius travels with the Roman army to Britannia to seek revenge. Quickly rising through the ranks, Marius becomes a leader and defender of the Empire and soon discovers that his ultimate quest can only be fulfilled much closer to home…
