505 Games revealed today that Sniper Elite 3 will launch for the PC digitally on 27th June, 2014. Retail code should be available around that time depending on your region, while the console versions will come later on 1st July, 2014 in North America.
Outside of North America, the console version will launch on the same day as the PC on 27th June.
Pre-orders will come with an exclusive DLC mission called ”Target Hitler: Hunt the Grey Wolf”, which is a stand alone mission that revolves around a ‘what if’ alternative history where Hitler – and his double – are visiting the city of Tobruk in secret. The aim of the mission is to infiltrate the German held city, find clues, and work out which Hitler is the ‘real’ one, then hunt him down.
Developer Rebellion tells us that the mission is designed to be replayable; ”the clues, the Hitlers’ locations, their animated ‘tells’ will all be randomised so each play through will be different. The city is essentially a mini-sandbox, so should give lots of variety.”
