Divinity: Original Sin has just received its first DLC. No, no don't worry, it's free! The Bear and the Burglar adds two new companion characters for a total of four, each with their own quests.
Ranger Bairdotr has a "bow on her back and her claws at the ready", and is searching for a missing druid of the Homeforest, while Wolgraff is a voiceless rogue who was refused by the order of the Source Hunters (the player characters' faction) as a young man.
I went through Divinity: Original Sin expecting to eventually meet some more companions to recruit, and was a little disappointed when I realised the game only had two. This improves things a bit, though unfortunately you'll have to start a new game in order to recruit them.
Still, The Bear and the Burglar is free and it's out right now. You should find it automatically applied to your Steam copy of the game along with a new patch, which squashes a number of bugs.
