Cyanide Studios, the team behind Styx: Master of Shadows, have released a new batch of screenshots for their upcoming goblin sneak-em-up. There’s ceiling-hanging, corpse-carrying, a giant with nipple-rings and… a tiny bird.
”Styx, the goblin anti-hero, is again giving us a brief glimpse of his numerous talents that will help you climb the vast Tower of Akenash,” write the developers in an accompanying press release. ”A master assassin and part-time thief, Styx can remove any objects that hamper his progress: but make sure you don’t leave any clues behind that could alert the guards to your presence, like a lifeless body in a walkway! As these images show, Styx can move his victims’ corpses and hide them where no one will accidentally stumble across them.”
A sort-of sequel to 2012’s Of Orcs and Men, Styx: Master of Shadows follows the titular goblin anti-hero as he travels to the top of the Tower of Akenash in search of treasure and the truth behind his origin. The infiltration game is scheduled for release in 2014 for PC, PS4 and XBox One.
